To all the ladies of our St. Ninian Parish,
The year 2020 was a very challenging year for all of us. Wherever you are in this community, each of us had to work together to ensure our community remain strong and resilient. We have succeeded, but we could not have done it without each and every one of the women in our community.
We had to stop many of our charitable activities, but we remain charitable; We had to stop providing funeral receptions , but we still prayed for our departed; And, we had to find innovative ways of helping each other, in and around our community, and some of us learned new ways to communicate with friends and family members – and we succeeded.
The women of this parish, came together, as volunteers and proudly took on the challenges God sent us. Things may look different today, but then again, we are also all different in our abilities to play a vital role in our community.
Keeping in mind our CWL mission. “To call our members to grow in faith, and to witness to the love of God through ministry and service”, we are calling call upon all Catholic women of the parish to get involved in any way you feel is important. You are the reason we have such a vibrant community.
In 2021, let’s take a moment to commemorate CWL’s 100 years of community involvement by St Ninian’s Catholic Women League.
